The Mount Vesuvius is an 8x8 sized Natural Wonder in CityVille. It allows up to 
4,000 Population when complete.
The Mount Vesuvius gives a temporary citywide payout bonus of:
- +100% (2x) payout to coins from Businesses and Malls.
It requires 3 Energy to activate the bonus effect, which will last for 5 minutes. You have the option to spend 
10 Cash to add 30 seconds to the timer and also get 10 Energy. During this period, the affected buildings will have sparkles around them.
In order to open Mount Vesuvius again, you need to either wait 72 hours, collect 12 Keys by asking neighbors through wall posts, or spend 60 Cash.
Removing this item will return it to your inventory.
To upgrade your Wonder you have to collect Gems from Friends or Natural Wonder-Themed Buildings. They are The Great Canyon, Mount Everest Mansion, Obsidian Home, Country Cottage, Tea Shop, Reed Flute House, House Of Gems, Hiking Supply Shop and the Mountain of Youth. Only 3 of the buildings are available for Coins, the rest are City Cash. The Cash buildings can collect rare gems.
