A Mystery Residence is a collectible item from the 
Branching Out! goal and also used for the 
Collect Famous Residences goal. They are referred to as Famous Residences in the second goal. All are 4x4 in size. They can be found under Residences in your inventory.
They can be acquired by collecting rent from any Neighborhood. They can also be obtained from Wall Posts when you or a neighbor finds one and Share's it. Once placed, 
10 Golden Keys are required as building materials to unlock the residence.
At the First Level (Bronze), it randomly produces one of these 5 houses:
Hammock Home, Hermit Hill, Parrot Bungalow, Tropical Treehouse, or Tree Stump Terrace
At the Silver Level, it randomly produces one of these 5 houses:
Silver Hammock Home, Silver Hermit Hill, Silver Parrot Bungalow, Silver Tropical Treehouse, or Silver Tree Stump Terrace
At the Gold Level, it randomly produces one of these 5 houses:
Gold Hammock Home, Gold Hermit Hill, Gold Parrot Bungalow, Gold Tropical Treehouse, or Gold Tree Stump Terrace
They can be stored in the 
Natural Estates. Completing the full collection and goals gives you the 
Treetop Mansion as a reward.
